Westfield was established in 1982 and is based in the heart to UK Vehicle Manufacturing in the West Midlands, United Kingdom. Westfield initially developed high performance sportscars using innovative and experimental technologies to improve both the experience and performance of the vehicles. In 2007 Westfield manufactured the world’s first one make pure electric race car and then in 2008 made the lightest M1 Hybrid vehicle-Westfield has been at the forefront of hybrid and electric vehicle technology. In 2012 Westfield has diversified into designing and manufacturing autonomous vehicles alongside the ongoing development and manufacturing of sportscars.
