We propose a first/last mile intelligent transportation system (ITS) which is composed of an automated driving system-dedicated vehicle (ADS-DV), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication, and driverless operation dispatching entity. The system is envisioned to operate at level 4 driving automation with access to environment-related information for enhanced safety and customer experience.
