iAuto Technology is a Taipei and Vancouver based startup company, which provides cost-effective turn-key and total solutions for ground vehicle automation, with the aim to make self-driving transport safer and easier. The leadership of iAuto consists of the global pioneers in vehicle automation and smart vehicle technologies from UC-Berkeley and National Taiwan University, as well as senior industrial experts of automotive engineering and ICT.
iAuto has also teamed up with UC-Berkeley PATH, National Taiwan University, Ming-Chi University of Technology, Formosa Automobile, and Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan to develop automated vehicle (AV) retrofit solutions, including x-by-wire control platforms, and AI-enhanced automated driving systems (ADS), for light EVs, electric buses, hybrid electric trucks/buses, and diesel engine buses. Also, the V2X wireless communication and AIoT technologies with cyber security protection features are integrated with the AV systems for performance enhancement, fleet management and enabling advanced cooperative safety functions. Besides the total solutions for the first/last mile (FM/LM) autonomous transport, iAuto also provides SAE Level 2+ autopilot systems for production vehicles.
