Scott Nash is the Director of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles at Verizon Business, where he spearheads the company’s initiatives within the automotive OEM and autonomous vehicle space. He collaborates with partners and product leaders to develop customer-centric solutions, ranging from individual connected vehicles to comprehensive ecosystems that revolutionize business operations and boost revenue. Scott’s responsibilities encompass business development, commercial strategy, and the alignment of cross-functional teams for Verizon’s connected vehicle ventures across diverse industries. He is also responsible for ensuring excellent customer experiences, strong financial results, and efficient operations.
A proven leader with two decades of success in business sales and management, Scott is also deeply committed to domestic violence prevention, having served on the Board of the Cornerstone for four years.
Scott’s professional journey began at Lowrance Electronics, where he focused on introducing GPS navigation to the outdoor sports market. In 1997, he transitioned to the wireless industry as a Business Account Executive, steadily progressing through various sales positions into management. By 2008, he was promoted to Director of Business Sales for the Great Plains Region, leading a team responsible for business and government sales across multiple states. After earning his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Scott took on the role of leading the Manufacturing Vertical sales team for the Enterprise Business Group. Following six years of significant sales growth and leadership in new product sales, he was tasked with establishing and currently leads the connected vehicle sales team.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration from the St Thomas Opus School of Business.
