Gloria Roberts is the Director of the Los Angeles California Department of Transportation (Caltrans District 7). Gloria leads over 2,500 employees dedicated to serving the eleven million residents in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Gloria and her team are responsible for an annual $4 billion capital program that improves, operates, and maintains 42 freeways and state highways. These roadways serve 25% of the state’s population, as well provide access to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach through which 40% of the US imported goods enter the country. Gloria has been instrumental in driving cultural change that embraces people, engagement, and partnerships. She combines her passion for collaborative partnerships with sound business acumen to implement a holistic approach that advances transportation programs and projects. Gloria received her Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and her MBA from UC Davis.
