Dr. Ahmad Abbadi has over two decades of experience in developing and managing automated driving systems and other safety-critical technologies. He is a cluster lead and expert in the automated driving systems.
He holds two PhDs in both robotics (2016) and automated driving systems (2023) and has contributed to innovations in the automotive and robotics sectors notably advance driving functions, and path planning of warehouse robots, with a specialization on autonomous mobility.
He has worked with leading clients across Europe, supporting the definition of strategic visions, development of advanced technology concepts, and the implementation of transformative solutions. Dr. Abbadi also serves as a jury member for the Dubai World Challenge for Self-Driving Transport 2025 overseeing onsite sites and evaluation activities
